Sterling European Motor Services was formed in December 1990, after spending many years as Sales Manager at Barking Garage. Originally called Sterling Motor Company, the name was changed to reflect the more diverse activities we are now involved with. Primarily selling new and used cars, and specialising in MG-Rover, we also became involved in private hire & Chauffeuring. In 1992 we moved into coach travel, using modern 49st executive coaches.1994 saw further changes as we became involved with vehicle logistics. This has become the major part of the business. As well as the involvement in light tipper trucks. And a relationship with Tipmaster Ltd (the original light tipper manufacturers), which has developed in a big way over the last fourteen years. I now manage the Specialist Sales Division for Tipmaster.

My Name is Nick Stubbington, and I am the Director of Sterling European. I run my small company the way I wish to be dealt with by all the others. Professionally, politely, and everything done promptly.

I hail from a small railway engineering town called Eastleigh, Hampshire. But have lived in Essex for  most of my life. However I still support Southampton F.C. I am married to Wendy (She's the one behind Wendy's Avon-link below !), and have two boys, Michael aged fourteen, and Paul aged ten. Michael's a Saints fan, and Paul, after sort of following Chelsea for a while is now a converted Saint.

Having been brought up in a Salvation Army family, it's no surprise that brass bands have played a big part in my life. For many years I played Euphonium, and conducted various S.A. brass bands. And still enjoy listening to them to this day. A highlight for me in my brass band life was the 14 years I spent with the EAST LONDON YOUTH BAND, making my way to Principal Euphonium, and Deputy Bandmaster.

As you can see this is a basic amateur designed website, computing is a bit of a hobby , and designing my website was just another thing to do. I have now designed a number of websites that are currently live on the net, although I prefer to be messing with computer hardware, building and upgrading.
